Everyone remembers their first proper braai.
To make getting started easy, every Charkii includes a Starter Braai Box containing carefully measured charcoal, selected hardwood, and quality firelighters. We've taken the guesswork out so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
Simply open the box, light the firelighters, crack open a cold one, and catch up with your mates while the coals come to life. In around 20–25 minutes, you'll have glowing hot coals ready to throw on your favourite steaks, boerewors, chops, chicken, or sosaties.
Because a braai isn't something you rush.
It's about slowing down, telling stories, sharing great food, and enjoying the unmistakable smell of a real wood-fired charcoal braai.

Charkii likes to dress up for special occasions, which is why we offer removable cleaning trays on either side of the legs that help prevent fat from dripping onto the legs and dirtying the outside of the braai.
Not only does Charkii deliver incredible flavour, it’s also designed with safety and convenience in mind. If conditions change or the wind picks up, you can safely shut it down in just a few simple steps:
